As data centers become more complex, there's strong demand for software providing Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM). One of the emerging players in this niche is FieldView Solutions, which counts some large financial institutions among its customers. At the recent Data Center World conference, FieldView Chief Strategy Officer David Schirmacher provided Rich Miller, editor of Data Center Knowledge, with an overview of the company's software.
